FHC's Patron YWCA Woman of the Year
Fargo, ND – Family HealthCare Center Executive Director Patricia Patron has been named the YWCA's 2010 Woman of the Year in the Advocating for Equality category. Patron is a native of Colombia, and holds bachelor's degrees in business administration and health care administration. She joined Family HealthCare Center in 2004 as a patient services representative and medical interpreter. She was appointed Executive Director in May, 2007.
Patron often lectures on cultural awareness and equality at Fargo-Moorhead area colleges and business symposiums. "FHC is everybody's effort," she says. "There are a lot of people who are very committed to the mission."
A total of 11 women and businesses were honored at the 2010 YWCA Women of the Year banquet.
