Dental services are provided at two locations, one in Fargo, ND and the other one in Moorhead, MN. The primary focus is to provide basic and restorative dental care, alleviate pain and infection of dental emergencies, and support successful prevention strategies.

Basic dental services are provided by the program, including comprehensive oral examinations, cleanings with fluoride treatments, periodontal care, routine fillings, root canal treatments, sealants, stainless steel crowns, and extractions. Emergency dental services are also provided during clinic hours.

Family HealthCare Center also addresses primary prevention through oral health education and periodontal prophylaxis. Priority is given to children in the delivery of dental services at Family HealthCare Center.

The main goals of the oral health services provided at Family HealthCare Center are in alignment with those of Healthy People 2010:
