Family HealthCare Center provides trained medical interpreter services to all health care organizations in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

The diversity of the population of the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas has increased considerably in the last decade, mainly due to an active refugee resettlement program in the community. In the last ten years, this community has become home for more than 6,000 new refugees. Also, an undetermined number of immigrants have resettled in the area. Refugees and immigrants in the Fargo-Moorhead area speak more than forty different languages and belong to a similar number of cultural groups. The most frequent language needs are in Bosnian, Somali, Kurdish, Arabic, Spanish, Burundi, Swahili, Khran, Vietnamese, and Russian.
