Pat Gulbranson – Chief Executive Officer
As the Chief Executive Officer, Pat leads Family HealthCare in achieving its mission by assuring a culture of quality, safety, innovation and accountability to our patients, staff, funders and community. Pat earned his Master of Science degree in Public, Human Service and Health Administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Care Administration and Long-Term Care Administration from Concordia College, Moorhead Minnesota.
Kaylin Frappier – Chief Operating Officer
As the chief operating officer and deputy CEO at Family HealthCare, Kaylin leads all operational aspects at both clinics and provides strategic and executive guidance to the management teams. Kaylin graduated from Mayville State University, Mayville ND, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He has over 30 years of experience in health care and as a senior executive in Medicare and Medicaid health care operations.
Margaret Asheim – Chief Financial Officer
As the Chief Financial Officer, Margaret is responsible for providing fiscal oversight and financial operational guidance to Family HealthCare. As the financial lead, she is also responsible for the integration of that discipline into the overall strategic plan in all of FHC’s programs. Margaret is a CPA and earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration-Finance from Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota. She has over 25 years of experience working in public accounting and various controller and CFO roles.
Lynelle Huseby – Clinical Director
As the Director of Clinical Services, Lynelle provides key leadership in policy development for clinical operations of the organization and assures well-defined programs, including primary care, chronic disease management, prevention, and case management services. She graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, with a Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree and has been on staff at Family HealthCare since 1999.
Billie Jo Nelson – Quality Director
As the Quality Improvement Director and the Compliance Officer for Family HealthCare, Billie Jo assists all departments in establishing, reviewing and improving quality in patient health outcomes, patient safety and the patient experience. Additionally, she monitors organizational compliance with state, federal and clinical requirement and regulations. Billie Jo graduated from Fergus Falls Community College as a Medical Laboratory Technician with an Associate’s Degree in Science. She completed her Internship at St Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge, MN.
Julie Sorby- Director of Community Development
As the Director of Community Development, Julie is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events and projects related to the commitment to the communities that we serve. Julie also plans and implements ongoing fundraising campaigns throughout the year. She is a steward of volunteer relationships and with community organizations. Within the organization, Julie is responsible for managing the development and submission of grant applications and funding requests. Julie graduated from Minnesota State University, Moorhead with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and has over 20 years of non-profit experience.
Diane Jones – Vice President of Human Resources
As the VP of Human Resources at Family HealthCare, Diane is responsible for maintaining and enhancing FHC’s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices. She counsels/coaches employees and management in the areas of employee relations, performance management, benefits and recruiting. Diane is a graduate of National Louis University in Chicago, Ill, is PHR (Professional in Human Resource) certified, and has over 14 years of experience in various industries, including healthcare, consumer packaging, software development, telecommunications and manufacturing.
Kim Seeb – Homeless Health Services Director
As the Homeless Health Services Director, Kim has a commitment and a passion for serving individuals who are struggling with homelessness and all that it entails. Kim, her staff, and our community partners provide a wide array of services, including case management, to assist patients with their healthcare plans, prior to, and after they are in housing. Kim is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), having graduated from Minnesota State University, Moorhead with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
Al Frisinger – Facilities Manager
As Facilities Manager, Al is responsible for educating staff on safe work practices. He oversees the security and safety of all Family HealthCare locations. Al has over 30 years of experience in facilities management.
Jasmine Gehrig – Interpreter Services Manager
As the Language Services Manager at Family HealthCare, Jasmine is responsible for managing all aspects of our interpreter services, which includes full-time in-house staff interpreters and PRN staff interpreters. Jasmine’s team of 25, supports 10 different languages, and provides language services to social service organizations, collaborating agencies, and the major health systems throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area. Jasmine, an interpreter herself, has been at FHC for 8 years and has a business and management degree from her native Bosnia.
Melissa Kraft – Diagnostics Manager
As the Diagnostics Manager, Melissa, a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist, manages both the X-ray and laboratory departments. FHC’s CLIA-waived lab performs rapid strep testing, urine pregnancy testing, glucose testing, hemoglobin testing, Hemoglobin A1c testing, INR testing and Influenza testing. Her lab also collaborates with the Sanford Health Lab for additional testing. Melissa earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science at North Dakota State University (NDSU), is licensed to perform laboratory testing by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice and is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as a Medical Technologist.
Kristen Curry – Health Information Manager
As the Call Center and Referral Manager, Kristen is responsible for providing high quality and efficient customer service to patients. She is also responsible for coordinating care for patients between their primary care providers at Family HealthCare and specialty providers at other facilities. In addition, Kristen serves as the Privacy Officer for Family HealthCare; providing staff education and training on HIPAA, federal and state law compliance as well as ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality guidelines are maintained throughout the entire organization. Kristen is a graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College with an Associate’s degree in Human Resources.
Kathy Robley– Manager of Revenue Cycle Integrity and Services
As the Accounting and Revenue Cycle Manager at Family HealthCare, Kathy is responsible for the supervision and direction of the billing team’s successful support of the company’s revenue cycle. Her primary responsibilities are to provide the resources necessary to ensure accurate insurance and patient billing processes and procedures; timely submission of claims, responses patients and internal staff and reporting; and a productive work environment that cultivates staff initiative and development. Kathy has over 30 years of experience in health care and insurance administration.
Lori Kinn – Patient Development Manager
As the Registration/Outreach & Enrollment Manager, Lori is responsible for providing leadership, support and oversight in order to provide quality and efficient customer service to patients. Lori is also a MNsure Navigator and a North Dakota Navigator Project Director responsible for writing, implementing and reporting grant performance data to government agencies including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This federal grant supports staffing who assist consumers to look at their health insurance options. Lori earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Health Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She is also a returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in rural Morocco providing health education and leadership skills to local community members.
