Family HealthCare is currently offering the Moderna and Pfizer COVID vaccine. We have a limited supply of the Janssen COVID vaccine also. We are offering the vaccine at scheduled visits and also taking walk ins between the hours of 8:30-4pm at our Downtown Fargo and South Fargo locations.

Moderna COVID vaccine: for patients 18 and up. The initial series is a two dose series separated by 28 days. Those that received the initial series of Moderna vaccine and are considered immunocompromised are eligible for a 3rd dose 28 days after the 2nd dose. Those that are considered high risk for COVID are eligible for a booster dose 6 months after the initial series. High Risk includes patients 65 and older, age 18 + living in long term care setting, age 18 + who have an underlying medical condition, age 18+ who work in a high risk setting and 18+ who live in a high risk setting.

Pfizer: for patients 12 and up. The initial series is a two dose series separated by 21 days. Those that received the initial series of Pfizer vaccine and are considered immunocompromised are eligible for a 3rd dose 28 days after the 2nd dose. Those that are considered high risk for COVID are eligible for a booster dose 6 months after the initial series. High Risk includes patients 65 and older, age 18 + living in long term care setting, age 18 + who have an underlying medical condition, age 18+ who work in a high risk setting and 18+ who live in a high risk setting.

Pfizer Pediatric: Pfizer has a COVID vaccine that is approved for children ages 5-11. The initial series is a two dose series separated by 21 days.
