Mentor Program for New Americans
Family HealthCare offers a Health Mentor program to serve New Americans settled through Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota. Our mentors visit families to complete health risk assessments, provide health education, and support the transition for all of the family members. New Americans relocating in our community face a lot of changes and challenges. Family HealthCare makes that transition smoother by offering a health mentor program. Our health mentors help families settle into the community, navigate resources and learn customs, traditions and expectations.
